Vivacious Vishakapattanam

This piece of work ,I am writing in a 3*** hotel here by the Ramakrishna Beach . There's a soothing current urging me to write a full scaped story of the hard part that we had to experience in Tirupati and the better bit here in Vizag . Of course , triple star hotels are one thing and dingy guest  houses another.
Anyways 28th morning we reached the Tirupati station. The journey had nothing special enough to be shared . Being the only place , where hotels not booked well ahead we decided to have car taking us uphill to tirumala. Here we gave some time for booking a few rooms. Finally by midday we were in a 'Non AC room' or so they called it . It was a little after we had  a breakfast that we decided to have a short tour around this temple town. It was a good scene-the temple with a seven pillared ceiling. We came back soon for we had to get ready to go to the visit Sri Sri Balaji .Atv the gate we were told that 300 /- tickets were available only in the morning  and 50 Rupees ones only in Tirupati. So we had only option left -Free Darshan . And there was no surity if it would yield any result. Finally we dropped the plan and instead made a walk through the templegrounds and even struggled to get a glimpse of the Idol. The next day we left the city by Tirumala Express for Vizag.

Today we reached Vizag with raind over our heads and then travelled to this hotel.Hungry that we were , we only didn't tear down to the restaurant just because we were bound to have after  the journey. Soon we had a waiter from Bengal serving us. After that we took some time review the beach. We clicked many pictures . It was very pleasant. Back at hotel I watched a movie much to the annoyance of other .And now I have just returned after a walk on the pavement along the beach .The other spectacular sight was the planes hovereing over the sea.

Heritages of Hyderabad

Well with the first two days of the tour gone there was not enough time for screening a centuries old city but we did not lose hope. The next day was christmas but unfortunately my stockings were empty.Still I had something to rejoice about. Being a Sunday the footpaths were filled with kitabwaalas selling books. And I got five of them for quite a less price .Then we proceeded to a restro which  was the turning point ( or rather, the starting point ) of our tour.

Hossain Sagar

As we were dining in the Bengali restro আমন্ত্রণ (Amantran) we asked the owner about the seabeach-like  point we passed . His answer made us more inquisitive and we walked along . The stairs to the road ( It was in the flyover - the place from where Hossain Sagar looked best. ) was very dirty but at the end of it with the view was relishing .We walked a short while to the boating barke and rowed along to the Buddha statue, situated admist the sea.

Birla Mandir
Now as we were done with the boating we picked a cab after having a লস্সি or लस्सी ( lassi  ) each who took us to the Jewellery Shoppe. After a short while we were in the Mandir. There was a bird's eye view of the whole city. It was remerkably wnderful. As the tall building towered the slums ,the sun  was over us. The glittery gold made our eyes dazzle . Finally we came down with our next destination....

 Char Minar

At the heart of the city , stood the enthralling structure humbling many a  glassy wall of the city. A Sultani structure, it is actually the four pillars or minars surrouded by four minor gates. We stalked through the stairs but at the end of it we were sumburged in sweat. So we decided to call it a day, even though we did not fail click a few snaps.
The next day..................

It was 9 a.m. sharp when I woke up only to have a lot of scoldings showered  on me . I brushed my teeth and scrubbed my-self. Finally by quarter to ten we had the car speeding to......

Ramoji Flim City

This amusement park or " Genesis Book of World Records certified : The Largest Film Studio in The World " was of  great joy to me . I enjoyed going through the Hall of Horrors in Fundustaan. The sightseeing caught me spellbound . I along with my mom splashed a lot  in the Japanese Garden. The Guntupalli village which we went after that was also very interesting.

Goloconda

The last of the day and Hyderabad that we visited, this tourist spot was a good trek from ground. I went on captturing while dad informed me about interesting spots ( only very interesting ones though, because all the places were interesting ). Mom followed us . I bet she had a tough time following us because we hardly left any trails behind. At the topmost floor a middle-aged person asked me  to click his pics . I did so and then we  parted . At 6:30 p.m. we proceeded to have our supper.

So we have finally had our planned trip finished with a margin of a day and a few hours maybe.Tommorrow we will be off to Tirupati by Venkatadri Express . So long,        bbyee....................

The AIGic Beginning

The first two days in Hyderabad we didn't go beyond the 5.3 km. away  Punjagutta based hospital Asian Institute of Gastroenterology . There we wanted a check-up to be done. It was a long wait an I was very bored. After the consultation we (actually one of us )  were given a few tests . By late evening all of them  were cleared save one. We were told that the next test would  be the following day. Then we were directed to the pharmacy to purchase a few medicines for the following test.

The next day . 8:30 am

The preparations for the test was on. Finally after four hours we were ready to move. We caught a Auto which took us to the gate.Today during the tests , unlike yesterday I had someone to talk to - a boy a year younger than me.Finally by  6:30 pm. today were done with AIG which technically consumed one half of the total time we were staying in the Capital of Nizam.

A King in Kingfisher

Waking up almost in daybreak, my mood was not at all fine . It seemed as if the whole world was asleep while I was the only person to be awake ( Of Course, Excluding my parents ! ). Yet we did not have enough time at the moment to have tea or sort of.. So we finished dressing , picked up our baggies and raced to the road to find a cab to take us to Dumdum Airport . It was 5:30 then - a time in winter when Mr.Sun was not in his office in the East but the street lights were turned off. Anyways we got a cab which  got us through to the airport for 280 bucks. As we went inside through the domestic terminal, the screens flashed IT-608 ( I mean our flight . Sorry for being formal) will fly from gate no. 3.We procceded there but the Kingfisher flight was not yet there . After a short wait ,during which  I clicked some snaps , the IT-608  flying from Delhi came .A A-320 aircraft, the flight was looking heavenly from the terminal building. Soon we were in the passage to the aircraft. Even though it was my first air travel I was not very excited.Soon we flew over 11000 metres with The Himalayas as our companion. About an hour and a half later we landed in IGI airport . Our bags were packed to Hyderabad . We were told that we would receive our luggages there. We went through the Travellator to the external gates and after that procceded to the canteen .They served food but it was not at all edible.Soon we went away to the airport. There it was very boring so I clicked some pictures here too.

Few hours later ,after browsing through the cream-white pages of some  books , as I was in the
A-320 aircraft -  with a loud groaning noise IT-804 set off for Rajiv Gandhi Inernational Airport in Hyderabad . At 9:30 p.m we finally touched the soil of the Deccan Capital ,also City Of Pearls , Hyderabad ,almost 15 hours after we started from Kolkata.
